Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Blugrn Softech (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the iOS mobile application All India Radios (the “App”) for iPhone and iPad. By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described below. The App is intended for users aged 18 and over and is offered free of charge, supported by advertising.

1. Information we collect

We do not require you to create an account or submit personal information directly to use the App. The following categories of information are collected automatically by the App and the third-party services it uses:

1.1 Device and technical information

Device model, iOS version, system language, and time zone.
Mobile network information (carrier name, network type) and approximate location derived from IP address.
App version, install source, and crash and performance diagnostics.

1.2 Advertising and instance identifiers

The Apple Identifier for Advertising (IDFA) — a resettable identifier managed by your device. This App does not present an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt and does not use your IDFA to track you across other companies’ apps and websites. Our advertising components run with advertiser tracking disabled; where attribution is needed it uses Apple’s privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork framework rather than your IDFA (see Section 4.1).
A Firebase app-instance identifier used for analytics, remote configuration, and anonymous authentication. This identifier is rotated when you reinstall the App.
The Identifier for Vendor (IDFV), an identifier shared only among apps from the same developer on your device, which Apple resets when you remove all of our apps.

1.3 Usage and interaction data

Radio stations and podcasts you play, and durations of playback.
Stations you mark as favorites and search queries you type within the App.
Ad impressions, clicks, and rewarded-ad completions.
Technical logs needed to diagnose crashes and errors.

1.4 On-device-only data

Some information is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to us. This includes your favorites list, your theme preference, podcast playback positions, and any custom radio stream URL you add through the “Custom Radio” feature. This data is removed when you delete the App from your device.

2. How we use information

Operating the App — streaming radio and podcast content; delivering favorites, search, and the Custom Radio feature; saving your preferences on your device.
Advertising — serving you ads through Google AdMob and its Meta Audience Network mediation partner, capping ad frequency, granting an ad-free reward window after a rewarded ad, and measuring ad performance via Apple’s SKAdNetwork.
Analytics and app-event measurement — understanding how users interact with the App (via Firebase Analytics and the Facebook SDK’s app-event logging) so we can prioritize improvements, fix bugs, and choose what content to surface.
Stability — receiving aggregated crash and performance diagnostics so we can fix issues.
Legal compliance — complying with applicable laws and responding to lawful requests.

3. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

For users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”):

Consent — for analytics and any limited ad personalization. Consent is gathered via the in-app consent dialog (powered by Google’s User Messaging Platform) and can be withdrawn at any time.
Legitimate interest — for non-personalized advertising, security/fraud prevention, diagnostics, and ensuring the App functions correctly.
Legal obligation — where we must process information to comply with applicable law.

4. Third-party services and advertising partners

The App relies on the following third-party services. Each service operates under its own privacy policy (linked below), and may collect information directly from your device:

We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party. The only parties that receive data from the App are the service providers listed above, and only to perform the functions described.

4.1 App Tracking Transparency and Apple Advertising

This App does not ask for permission to track you under Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework, and it does not link your activity in this App with data from other companies’ apps or websites for advertising. Our ad and measurement components are configured with advertiser tracking disabled. Ad attribution, where used, relies on Apple’s aggregated SKAdNetwork signals, which do not identify you individually.

You remain in control of Apple’s advertising settings at any time:

Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking — controls whether apps may request to track you.
Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising — lets you turn off Apple’s personalized ads and reset your advertising identifier.

4.2 Cookies and similar technologies

The App itself does not set browser cookies. However, third-party libraries embedded in the App (such as the Google Mobile Ads SDK, the Meta Audience Network SDK, and any in-app web views) may use local storage or similar device-level identifiers to deliver, measure, or limit their content. You can clear this data at any time by deleting and reinstalling the App. Refusing or clearing such identifiers may limit some functionality (for example, ad frequency capping).

4.3 Links to other sites and external content

The App plays radio streams and podcasts hosted by independent third parties (broadcasters and podcasters). These streams are transmitted directly from the third party’s servers to your device. We do not own, operate, or control these external sources and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or privacy practices. We strongly recommend that you review the privacy policy of any third party whose content you access through the App. Any complaints regarding third-party content (including takedown or copyright requests) should be addressed to the original publisher; you may also notify us at webuildapps101@gmail.com and we will forward the request or remove the listing where appropriate.

5. Personalized vs. non-personalized advertising

Because this App does not request tracking permission on iOS, ads are served on a non-personalized (contextual) basis by default and are not tailored to you based on cross-app tracking of your advertising identifier. Where required by law (for example, for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or US states with applicable privacy laws), we ask for your consent choices the first time you open the App, and you can change those choices at any time through your device’s privacy settings or by re-opening the in-app consent options if surfaced.

6. Your rights

6.1 European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland (GDPR)

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
Erasure — request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
Restriction — request that we stop or limit processing.
Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Withdraw consent — withdraw any consent previously given. This will not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Lodge a complaint — with your local data protection authority.

6.2 California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other US states

If you are a resident of California or another US state with applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:

Know what personal information we collect, use, and share.
Request access to and deletion of your personal information.
Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell personal information for monetary value, and because the App does not track you across other apps and websites, we do not “share” your information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). 7. International data transfers

Our advertising and analytics partners listed in Section 4 may store and process information in the United States, the European Union, and other countries where they operate data centers. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA / UK, our partners rely on legal mechanisms recognized under GDPR (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect that data.

8. Data retention

On-device data (favorites, custom radio URLs, theme, podcast playback positions): retained until you delete the App.
Advertising and analytics data: retained by our service providers according to their own retention policies. Google retains AdMob and Analytics data for up to 26 months by default.
SKAdNetwork attribution: aggregated install/conversion postbacks are handled by Apple and the ad networks; we do not retain user-level data from them.
Email correspondence: emails you send to us are retained for as long as needed to handle your request, plus a reasonable period for our records.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by the App, including secure transport (HTTPS) for data in transit and reliance on the security practices of our service providers. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's privacy

The App is not intended for and is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” shown in the Contact section below indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice or update screen. Continued use of the App after a change becomes effective means you accept the revised policy.
