This Privacy Policy explains how AIBL Apps (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the mobile application Baby Sleep (the “App”) — a white-noise and lullaby app for soothing babies and supporting sleep. By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
The App is designed to be operated by a parent or caregiver who is 18 years of age or older. It is offered free of charge, supported by advertising, with an optional paid subscription that removes ads and unlocks additional content. The App is not directed to children and is not intended for a child to use on their own — see Section 10.
We do not require you to create an account or submit personal information directly to use the App. The following categories of information are collected automatically by the App and the third-party services it uses:
If you enable notifications, the App registers a device-specific push token with Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can send updates about new sounds or app changes. You can disable notifications at any time from your device's notification settings.
If you purchase a subscription, the transaction is processed by Google Play Billing and managed through RevenueCat (our subscription infrastructure provider). We receive your purchase token, subscription status, product identifier, and an anonymous RevenueCat app-user ID. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number or billing address — those are handled directly by Google Play.
Some information is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to us. This includes your saved mixes and favorites, sleep-timer and playback preferences, home-screen state, theme preference, and any temporary “unlock” windows granted after watching a rewarded ad. This data is removed when you uninstall the App or clear its storage.
For users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”):
The App relies on the following third-party services. Each service operates under its own privacy policy (linked below), and may collect information directly from your device:
| Service | Purpose | Their privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) | Primary ad network — serves banner/MREC, native, app-open, interstitial, and rewarded ads, and mediates the partners below. | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Meta Audience Network (Meta Platforms, Inc.) | Advertising mediation partner — may serve ads through AdMob mediation and collect device/ad identifiers to do so. | facebook.com/about/privacy |
| Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) | Gathers GDPR / US-state consent choices and stores them on your device. | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Firebase (Google) — Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance, Cloud Messaging, Authentication (anonymous), Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage | App analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, push notifications, anonymous authentication, sound-catalog data, and delivery of downloadable sound content. | firebase.google.com/support/privacy |
| RevenueCat, Inc. | Subscription management — validates purchases and tracks subscription status under an anonymous app-user ID. | revenuecat.com/privacy |
| Google Play Billing (Google LLC) | Processes subscription payments. Handles your payment details directly; we never receive them. | policies.google.com/privacy |
We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party. The only parties that receive data from the App are the service providers listed above, and only to perform the functions described.
The App uses Google Play Services, a platform-level service provided by Google LLC, to power several features including Firebase (analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, anonymous authentication, content delivery), Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), Google Play Billing, and Google's User Messaging Platform. As part of providing these features, Google Play Services may automatically collect the following information from your device:
This information is processed by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Play Terms of Service.
The App itself does not set browser cookies. However, third-party libraries embedded in the App (such as Google Mobile Ads and any in-app web views used to render ads) may use local storage or similar device-level identifiers to deliver, measure, or personalize their content. You can clear this data at any time by clearing the App's storage from Android Settings. Refusing or clearing such identifiers may limit some functionality (for example, ad frequency capping).
Where required by law (for example, for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or US states with applicable privacy laws), we will ask you to choose whether you consent to personalized advertising the first time you open the App. You can change your choice at any time through your device's Reset advertising ID setting or by re-opening the consent options if surfaced in the App.
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
To exercise any of these rights, email aiblsoftechapps@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are a resident of California or another US state with applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:
We do not sell personal information for monetary value. However, the use of advertising identifiers for personalized advertising may be considered “sharing” under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). To opt out, decline personalized ads in the in-app consent dialog, or email aiblsoftechapps@gmail.com.
Our advertising, analytics, and subscription partners listed in Section 4 may store and process information in the United States, the European Union, and other countries where they operate data centers. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA / UK, our partners rely on legal mechanisms recognized under GDPR (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect that data.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by the App, including secure transport (HTTPS) for data in transit and reliance on the security practices of our service providers. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Although the App plays sounds intended to soothe babies, it is a tool for parents and caregivers; the person who installs, configures, and operates the App is an adult. The App is not directed to children, does not target ads to children, and is not designed for a child to operate independently. Consistent with this, the App requests advertising configured as not child-directed (the user is the parent, not the child).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at aiblsoftechapps@gmail.com and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” shown in the Contact section below indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice or update screen. Continued use of the App after a change becomes effective means you accept the revised policy.
